Baptism

For her baby's baptism, Cate O'Malley (New Jersey), wanted to go green. " For me, the biggest thing was not using any paper products. Normally I'd stop at the store and pick out a bunch of coordinating products that would just end up in the garbage a few hours after the event started. 

"This time, I got on the hunt for pink and white plates that were not disposable. I ended up finding some really nice sets at Target, including matching cups and bowls. Reasonably priced (and actually even cheaper than had I bought disposable products), they're very durable and I love the memory they created, because now any time we use the plates and related items, I can smile and say, "We used that at Madeline's baptism!"
