Win a book and celebrate National Moms Night Out
In honor of National Moms Night Out day (evening?) Thursday, March 18, fellow radio host, Rachel Wright, of Time for Some R&R, is offering two Celebrate Green! readers, followers, fans, listeners or anyone who just plain likes us, the opportunity to win a copy of her book, Moms Night Out: Even Inmates Get Time off for Good Behavior. (We expect the winners will celebrate laughter with this one.)
And we’ll throw in an Eco-Libris sticker so that one tree will be planted for each book won.
What a deal!
Just leave a comment letting us know what you’d do on Mom’s Night Out if money were no object–taking the Earth into consideration, of course. Sorry, that means no trips to a spa in France unless you live in Paris.
(We’ll use Random.org to make the choice and post the winner on Friday a.m.)
Have fun! (And spread the word please–Tweet, FB etc.!) Can’t wait to read your comments.

I would go on a nice shopping spree for clothes, shoes, and specialty foods (so I could enjoy them the whole next week, organic of course!). Then on to a spa for a full course of treatments. Followed up by dinner prepared by a chef with local ingredients (because fresher always is yummier) and wine pairings. Finally a night alone in a luxury suite… with no alarm clock or kids to wake me up!
Definitely a pampering night out! We have a local salon that is offering an organic mani/pedi and they have sangria ~ Yeah!!
Hey, ladies…You are giving me some great ideas for next year
Enjoy yourselves tomorrow night!
A night out would consist of a beautiful candlelit dinner on a boat drifting down a river with someone special.
If I had a mom’s night out… I would start with the pampering, the spa, the professional makeover etc etc. then party like a rock star!!!!! Why not!!! if this my one opportunity to be out AND I had unlimited energy!!! I would dance to girl anthems, ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!!
oh, how this post has started me daydreaming! I would give anything for a slow and leisurely dinner at an outdoor cafe in the park – just me and a good book (one that is NOT about parenting). A few glasses of wine and some delicious, fresh seafood. why has this holiday been kept a secret from me?!?
If I had a night out I would walk and watch the stars and enjoy the quiet echo of the nature around me. The a leisure dinner at my favourite cafe which uses organic foods. Finally, enjoy a glass of local wine.
Thanks for the fun! Winners picked by random.org are Jen Branham and Lisa Emery! Please email LynnATcelebrategreen.net with your addresses so the books can be sent to you. Thanks!
