Is shopping seasonally driving you a bit batty? We make it easy.

You’ve heard it said (okay, you’ve heard us say it) that buying seasonal foods for your celebration is a great way to “go green” but how do you know which foods grow seasonally (and locally)? How can you find them?
Here are some great resources for making seasonal simple, and saving money too.
- Sustainable Table has a fantastic online tool for finding out which foods grow near you during different times of year.
- Eat Well Guide will show you where to find fresh, seasonal foods near you.
- Pick Your Own shows you where you can harvest your own seasonal grub.
- Join a CSA (community supported agriculture). Locate one at Local Harvest.
- Shop at your local farmer’s market.
- Grow your own food in your backyard or community garden.
