8 more {eco} Etsy finds for Valentines Day

by Lynn and Corey

Valentine’s Day is on its way, but there’s still plenty of time to order a handmade gift for your love. If you didn’t find something appropriate in yesterday’s post, we hope you will today! Here are eight more ideas from Etsy, the home of handmade.

1. Recycled glass cufflinks

Love the sentiment in these, “Keep calm and carry on!” Could be the motto for a marriage or a life.

2. Slippers with gorgeous red flower

If you’re lucky enough to be the right size and your partner knows your affinity for woolly slippers, get him on this immediately!

3. Red beeswax petal candles

These are not only beautiful, but unusual looking for beeswax candles. They are handmade in California and each is unique.

4. Entangled scarf

Anyone can give a single gift, but why not give something four times over. This “entangled” scarf is composed of four “strands” of wool or alpaca yarns. What fun to play with them as a couple on Valentine’s Day, then wear them, a constant (but subtle), reminder of your love

5. Recycled wood sign

One simple word to focus on this Valentine’s Day and always! Made from recycled plywood.

6. Recycled paper Valentine

What would Valentine’s Day be without a card? Match the simple sentiment on the outside of this one with equally simple, heartfelt words of your own within.

7. A handmade paper journal

A wonderful place to keep love notes, jot memories or poems. How about filling it with quotes about love before presenting it to your Valentine?

8. Your words engraved on a stone

Talk about forever! You can engrave a short phrase or word of your choice on one of these small stones, a long-lasting reminder of your love.
