Celebrate Green! joins My Little Pakora to celebrate a green Holi

You may never have heard of Holi, the Hindu Festival of Colors, but what a wonderful idea to celebrate it, especially if, like us, you live where winter seems as though it will drag on until July! (The only color we’re seeing outside our windows right now is white!)

Doesn’t Holi look like fun from this picture? But like any holiday or celebration, this one can use some greening up. Thanks to our friend, Sonia Gupta from My Little Pakora, we’ve got great ideas for Holi that, as usual, leave all the joy and fun, but make it more earth-friendly. See our Holi page here for Sonia’s, (with a little help from her mom), great ideas .

And to help us all have a happy Holi, whether or not we traditionally celebrate, we and Sonia have teamed up for a fun contest. You can win an organic t-shirt or onesie from www.MyLittlePakora.com and their Yoga Baby or Wild Baby lines. (Sizes are contingent on stock levels.)

It’s easy to enter. Just go here for directions. While Holi is on March 13, this year, the contest runs until the end of March, so be sure to pass on the word to all your friends who are expecting or who already have babies. What little one wouldn’t look as cute as can be in this onesie?
