Celebrate green with origami
We recently stumbled upon FoldSomething.com, a site dedicated to the art (and fun) of origami.
With instructional videos, supply lists and forums, FoldSomething.com is a fabulous resource for learning how to turn the ordinary into extraordinary, using paper alone.
What’s so green about that?
Everything - when you use “upcycled” paper: junk mail, magazines, catalogs, scrap paper, old bills. Absolutely any piece of would-be trash can become a welcome treasure.
So how about making origami star garlands for the Solstice, gift boxes for birthdays, or little spooky skulls for Halloween giveaways?
Embellish cards, handcraft tree ornaments, create eco-funky jewelry, make toys for the tots.
The possibilities are truly endless….
And many patterns are easy enough for even the youngest of the bunch.
Happy folding!

Thanks for the site link! This will be helpful when I make cards.
