February favorite things
Valentine’s Day is so yesterday!
There are many things I’ve found to love this month that have nothing to do with the holiday.
1. Like this fab cookbook book shelf (say that six times fast!) from Retro Grandma. This is one cool grandma who has lots of other reclaimed, upcycled items to offer in her shop.
2. When I first saw this rocking stool from Eco First Start on Pinterest, I fell immediately. Its humor appeals to me to say nothing of the color of the removable organic cover. The price means I’ll never own an original, but that won’t stop me from admiring it and using it for inspiration!
3. Your only-surrounded-by-organic baby will look so cute snuggled under this organic blanket. And what’s more natural for a sleepless baby than an adorable, but modern, sheep print? From the eco-fab Sewn Natural.
4. These days, modern eclectic with a big dose of whimsy is my design esthetic (and “eco” too of course), so how could I not be bowled over by this cardboard chandelier by Seequin? Tired of it? Off to the recycle bin!
5. What fun! A beautifully made balancing game that will become an heirloom. No plastic in your house! It’s from Smiling Tree Toys where you’ll find other soon-to-be favorites any babe (and eco-parent) will love.
