Recipe: 5 Minute Blueberry Sauce
While eating blueberries warmed by the sun, right off the bush is our number one way to get all those antioxidants, we also think adding them to other simple ingredients turns them into an every-meal addition.
If you’re lucky enough to have very sweet blueberries on hand, skip the sugar in this recipe. And of course, if sugar isn’t your thing, you can substitute any sweetener you like.
A few uses for this sauce:
- pancake topper
- on ice cream
- make a bit less sweet and use instead of barbecue sauce
- top off yogurt
- use in a smoothie with bananas and other fruit
The simple recipe is from our friends at PCC Natural Markets where we shop more times a week than we like to admit!
