Fresh green news
Welcome to our first ever Celebrate Green! update.
The last two months have been a whirlwind of activity in preparation for the official birth day of our bouncing baby book yesterday, October 1.
Now that the baby's here, we want to let you in on some of our exciting developments. We hope you'll participate with us as we build www.CelebrateGreen.NET into the premier website for green celebration information.
It's a bird, it's a plane, it's an interactive website!
Our book, Celebrate Green!, is only 232 pages long. Believe us, we tried, but it was impossible to cram everything in we'd hoped. Instead, we decided that www.CelebrateGreen.NET would be an ever growing and expanding resource for everyone who wants to learn about and enjoy celebrating green.
With this in mind, be sure to stop by prior to any holiday or celebration to pick up the latest tips and ideas. We'll also be staging contests with fun prizes and offering lots of opportunities for you to share your ideas not just with us, but with the whole green world! More on that in upcoming news alerts.
Speaking of contests...
If you or your kids enjoy entering contests, be sure to stop by www.GreenHalloween.org for fun, entertaining and creative opportunities to win cool stuff. Also, Kiwi magazine offers you a chance to win a specially designed Chico bag along with guess what, a copy of Celebrate Green! Check it out here.
My blog tour is bigger than your blog tour
It's true, we've got more than 30 incredible bloggers who, during the first few weeks of October, are going to trumpet to the world, Celebrate Green! and our mission to green up all holidays and celebrations.
Be sure to check out the blog tour itinerary, stop by some blogs and leave a comment. If you know how the heck to Stumble, Kirtsey, Twitter or whatever, do that too. ((f you don't know how, you might want to learn. Consider it as course one toward a PhD in social networking.)
100+ villagers and counting
Hard to imagine you haven't heard about our village, but in case you've been too involved in thinking about the election or Wall Street's ills, here's something to take your mind off all that yucky stuff. While we've got 100 on the roster, more villager volunteers are needed to help us raise our bouncing baby book. (Takes a village to raise a child.)
Join our village and help promote Celebrate Green! It's simple, fun and best of all, you'll spend ten minutes or less each week helping get the word out about something that can make a change in a way that neither politicians nor economists will. Not to mention, villagers can purchase our book at 40% off the retail price and there's liable to be an unexpected surprise or two along the way (that's surprise in the good sense). Email [email protected] to sign up.
Eco Gift Show madness
We're excited to report that we've been invited to participate in the fabulous Eco Gift Expo in Santa Monica, CA December 12-14. If you're anywhere in the southern California area, we'd love to meet you. We expect to present a "Show and Tell Funshop" and will give you more details as we get closer. Let us know if you have other ideas for us to get the word out on Celebrate Green! while we're in the LA area.
May I have this dance?
OK, so we're not really asking you to dance (let's just say you shouldn't expect to see either of us on Dancing With The Stars any time soon), but we are looking for partners for promo activities.
We've got quite a number of inexpensive promotions in mind and if you market anything that you think we'll be madly in love with, email us and let's see if we can make some beautiful music together.
Let's make a deal
If you own an online or traditional store and would like to purchase Celebrate Green! at wholesale, you're in luck. Or if you're a business and want to buy a book for every employee and customer, again, we've got a deal for you. And finally, if you run a non-profit and want to sell Celebrate Green! as a fundraiser, no problem. For any or all of these requests, email us.
