We met Tina Balodi at the Eco Gift Festival in LA last December. She is not only a mom and brilliant woman who developed one of the leading (if not the leading) online game companies, Ultimate Arcade, but she's a woman on a mission. She believes games are a great way to teach and enhance eco-friendly behaviors and is starting a new branch of the company to do just that. We're excited to be involved with Tina as she develops Conscious Arcade.
You can get an idea of what is to come by trying Catch a Smoochie, on our Valentine's page. No lessons here, just plain fun. Watch for eco-focused games coming later this year.
Frustrated, but triumphant
The past few weeks have been challenging to both of us as we battled dying and recalcitrant computers and peripherals and programs that lead us on like never-ending mazes. But thanks to our trusty triumverate of A-1 Best Computer in Seattle, Tony at the world's greatest web company, Spokane Web Communications, and John Saxton, Wordpress guru extraordinaire (email us for his contact info), we've tackled and triumphed over almost all our tech issues.
Our blog is working well (more tweaks to come, but hopefully this time, as she makes the changes, Lynn will not pull the entire system down as did twice during the last couple of weeks). Our favorite addition? Now you can subscribe to the blog by email or RSS.
Corey has a new computer, Lynn a new printer (old ones recycled of course), and now, if we can just get our videos edited, we will be ready to celebrate!
