On deadline for fun, easy design competition
Today's the last day to enter our design-a-pendant competition in collaboration with www.BlendCreations.com.  

Until midnight tonight (March 17), you and/or your kids can fax or email a design. Professional artists are welcome, but so are doodlers. See some of the entries here. Instructions here.

The designer of the pendant that receives the most votes as well as one voter chosen at random, will become owners of a recycled stainless pendant with the design laser-inscribed on it, along with a copy of Celebrate Green!. Both are perfect for Mother's Day giving.

Do we need our heads examined?
When it comes to getting the word out about celebrating green, we're relentless. That's why, on top of being "official" bloggers for HGTV, KIWI magazine, CW11, The Green Girls and Baby Loves Disco, earlier this week, we happily accepted a new assignment as "celebrations examiners" for www.examiner.com/seattle.  

This is a great opportunity for us to focus on and support people and businesses in the area where we live. Of course, you can access our posts no matter where you are, and we hope you will.  Our first post will go up next week.
