We had more than 35 entries in the design-a-pendant competition we're running with www.BlendCreations.com. Now it's time to vote. You, along with the designer who gets the most votes, may find yourself the proud owner of the most popular design, laser inscribed on a recycled stainless pendant along with a copy of Celebrate Green!. Watch out Portland, here we come
We've been invited to talk about a green Mother's Day in Portland this Friday at 9 a.m. on KATU's AM Northwest. We'll be discussing ways to keep Mother Earth happy along with any other mother in your life. If you live in Portland, we hope you'll watch, then on Saturday, head over to the Better Living Show at 1 p.m. to hear us speak. Between 2 and 3 p.m., we'll be available to sign copies of Celebrate Green! at the Shorebank Pacific booth.

Examining Seattle celebrations
As we mentioned in the last issue, we're now official "examiners," for www.Examiner.com/Seattle. What we didn't realize until after we'd already started, is that we can actually make money doing this. Wow! What a concept. We started writing last week.
So far we've made $1.34.
Pay, we discovered, is based on how many people visit our pages. So visit away. We'll let you know if we ever make enough to take you out for a latte should you be in the neighborhood. Here's our homepage from whence you can travel to the far reaches of our articles.
Your sidebar or mine?
Using a neat little widget creator at www.widgetbox.com, we made a handy, dandy little widget so that you can stay up-to-date on all our goings on. Just click on the widget here and add to your website or blog, and we'll join your party. This is going to be fun!
A whole new world
While we would never claim to be sophisticates, we don't mind rubbing shoulders with those who are. That's why we're excited to be blogging for www.TheGreenGirls.com This is one hip group, lead by the effervescent, Apple Levy, who, among other enterprises, interviews celebrities about causes they believe in.
