Green bits
Happy Mother's Day to you! Be sure to watch our very special video for anyone who is a mom or who ever had a mom. Get out the tissue! And feel free to comment, link or forward. And speaking of Mother's Day, our ideas were featured on TV, radio, and in blogs across the blogsphere, in a great tribute to the idea that moms everywhere want to celebrate green!
As of this week two more Seattle area stores have joined others across the U.S. in selling Celebrate Green!, Giraffe Global Gallery on Vashon Island, WA, and Bellevue Botanical Gardens are now stocking the book. Depending on where you live, there may be a store near you carrying Celebrate Green! If there is, we'd love it if you'd stop in, say hi and thank the owner for carrying the book.
We're so excited to announce that we will be doing monthly blog posts for Craft for Health, a brand new blog that shows you how to use crafting for personal growth. It's a concept close to both our hearts. Corey, as a board certifed art therapist and Lynn, as a life coach and ardent crafter, know not only the joy of art and craft, but the ways in which it can help us manage life's ups and downs.
And speaking of blogging, we were invited to write for one more, the fun, gossipy Celebutante Sisters. We feel a little out of our element with all the hip happenings, but we're game! Here's our first post.
Mothering magazine's homepage featured our video on hand made cards.
Corey's got talent! She's not only a green guru. Hear her sing!
Lynn donated two collages that are among the more than 300 being auctioned off this week, to help cancer research
In addition to our video, if you want to give your favorite mom, a loving, yet hysterical, gift, go here.
We're taking a bite out of the Big Apple
Yes, next week, we're off to NYC. Lynn was born there and raised only about 35 miles north, but hasn't been back in probably 20 years. Corey visited once. We've got some meetings scheduled that could result in big changes for us, so we're excited.
If you live in the area and would like to meet up sometime during our visit, just email us and if we can, we will.
