The story behind Celebrate Green!, the book that will launch a revolution in how America celebrates*

 Once upon a time, a mom and her daughter were talking. (Moms and daughters tend to do a lot of that.) Daughter Corey had come up with an idea. She wanted to make Halloween healthier and more Earth friendly, so she founded Green Halloween. Mother Lynn thought this was brilliant (and not just because Corey is her daughter, although that may have figured into it a tiny bit), but wondered, why stop there? Why not apply the same principles to every holiday and celebration?
The two decided to meld their passion for celebrations that are good for people and the Earth and find ways to spread the word. A book, they decided, would create the perfect platform and might even land them on Oprah. Now hold on a minute, don't get your shorts in a knot over that statement. Lynn and Corey are not seeking fame and fortune, at least not for themselves. They want to change the world. They want to build up a not-for-profit company that can give away millions to causes they believe in. They want to support people who take seriously the threat to humanity caused by our squandering the limited resources we share.
